How can I prepare a pumpkin?
You can also bake pumpkin, stew or use the microwave. The main thing is that the pumpkin becomes soft.
Oh, while kneading dough for pumpkin bread, I got so many emotions. Knead the dough for bread with your hands, not a machine! This is nice and the bread tastes even better! The brighter the pulp of the pumpkin, the brighter the bread will be!
First, make pumpkin puree. Cut the peeled pumpkin into slices. And cook in a small amount of water.
Drain most of the liquid from the pumpkin. When it cools down - add 1 tbsp. sugar and yeast, mix and leave until a froth is formed.
Turn the finished pumpkin into mashed potatoes (using a blender or through a sieve). While the mashed potatoes are warm, sugar, salt and oil will dissolve well in it.
Slowly pour flour into the pumpkin-oil mixture, knead the dough. Since pumpkin puree can be thicker or thinner, more or less flour may be needed, so we pour the flour gradually. The dough should be plastic, tender, soft and not stick to your hands. Knead and leave to approach for about an hour, until an increase in volume of 2-3 times.
Lubricate the baking dish with butter and put out the dough. You can simply put the dough in the form of a loaf on a baking sheet. Or make small buns out of it. Sprinkle with sesame seeds.
Bake in a preheated oven to 180 C until cooked. I had an hour baked. Baking time depends on the shape. Wrap the finished bread in a towel for the next time. Bon Appetit!
