…Time to DETOX from all the sugar, salt, and processed foods Sweet Daddy, the kids, and I have been eating during the holidays.
Last February, Sweet Daddy and I followed Dr. Joel Fuhrman’s eating plan for 6 weeks and never felt better. I highly recommend it to everybody! I’m feeling like it’s time to re-introduce his recipes to our regular weekly meals. I feel so much better when I cut out the junk (sodium, sugar, caffeine) and processed foods and just eat “real” food. Fruits, vegetables, whole grains. There’s nothing better for you. I know it, Sweet Daddy knows it, and if you don’t know it yet, just read one of Dr. Fuhrman’s books and you’ll soon know it too!
Tonight, I’m making a big pot of Dr. Fuhrman’s Fast Black Bean Soup. The great thing is that I already have a lot of the ingredients on hand. Actually they’re in my freezer, taking up precious space. So, let Operation Clean Out the Freezer begin!
